The garden is in that late June state when things change every day.
This calendula self seeded from last year, and I am very glad to see it.

The feverfew is in full bloom. It is such a delicate looking bloom on such a hardy plant.
A recent visit to the river began with an overcast, rainy day and turned into a gorgeous afternoon.
Claribel has been getting up to quite a bit of mischief. Her cuteness is her best defense.
If you look carefully in the photo below, you will see that there is a box of cat treats on the shelf. That is what she is seeking in this moment, because if she knocks it off the shelf it will probably open for her to have access to the kitty treats.
The roses are really starting to look lovely. I think I will need to be watering soon, since it is really hot here.

The irises have been enchanting.
This lovely bush in the front is called False Indigo –and is brightening up the front bed.
The blooms are starting to come out. Thankfully, there has been some rain here and suddenly everything is starting to be green.
The kitties are taking full advantage of sun and snuggling.
I had a lovely visit in Florida and I got to go horseback riding. So here is a good view from the back of a horse. This idyllic park like area at my dad’s place includes a couple of swings hung from the trees –you can see them off to the right.

The tulips are up and many other things are poking their heads out. The peonies and hostas haven’t made an appearance yet.

Last sunday it was warm and the river was really gorgeous.
While it was warm, the kitties in the house had some time on the porch.
Now the temperature has swung unbelievably, it has snowed here, and all the kitties are snuggling in while it finally looks like winter here. To give you a sense of the massive change in temperature: on Sunday it was 60F (15C) and this morning it is -8F (-22C).
